Cprime Announces Acquisition of DevJam

Cprime, the largest Agile, Atlassian and DevOps consulting company in the United States, today announced that it has acquired DevJam, a leading Devops and Agile consulting firm, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since 2007, DevJam has been the premier thought leader in the Midwest for product development, continuous delivery, and Agile optimization. The acquisition will extend Cprime’s network to help companies build devops cultures that produce antifragile code and continuous delivery pipelines that foster continuous learning. With DevJam’s immersive framework called Dojos, companies will be able to form teams bonded around product and customer learning, product discovery and learning outside the code, responsive engineering rooted in a culture of devops, and the importance of iterative learning based in contextually meaningful evidence. The acquisition will be the next step in Cprime’s ability to Cprime’s ability to help accelerate the convergence of Agile and Devops by broadening Cprime’s Software Services Lifecycle Management (SSLM) into clients software development process.

“DevJam’s expertise working with product teams and developers in an immersive and pragmatic approach further broadens Cprime’s services for customizable solutions to support scaling Agile and DevOps solutions of SSLM,” said Zubin Irani, CEO of Cprime.

Launched last year, SSLM is a new approach designed to address the fragmented way software, product and services are used to support Agile, DevOps and ALM initiatives. It aligns teams, processes, and tools used to build applications through a unified approach to software services that removes the cultural barriers that result in siloed operations and disconnected software delivery workflows. SSLM promotes an integrated and comprehensive approach that supports the software goals of an organization. As Agile and DevOps reach further into the enterprise, SSLM establishes the need for tool and process convergence, and building a unified, integrated strategy.

“I am excited to see DevJam’s mixture of customer learning with responsive engineering blend with the agile and devops work that Cprime does so well. I’m excited that Cprime, like DevJam, cares about building the right thing, the right way,” said David Hussman, Founder and CEO of DevJam.
